You find yourself on a deserted island with several people. After months of being there you decide one of you must leave the island to find help. Who do you send? Why?

The Handiman. A jack-of-all trades, and a really nice guy. Only downside is, he only has one arm.
The Science Teacher. Essentially an intellectual with a supiriority complex. Seems to have a great understanding of the scenario, unfortunately his ego stands in the way.
The Kid. Just that, a kid. Asides from being obedient and wanting to help, unfortunately there are a lot of tasks that he simply can't handle.
The Mother. Of the kid. Completely over-protective of her child and completely self-absorbed. She would be an easy pick, but that poor kid would probably go with her.
The Soldier. Served two tours. He also happens to be a great hunter and tracker. Unfortunately, he has really bad PTSD. It only seems to be a matter of time before he snaps.
The Chef. Has a culinary degree, and has travel all over the world making dishes out of everything and anything. The only unfortunate part is, that's all he really is good at.
The Cop. Has the ability to bring the other survivors closer together, and helps keep them focused on survival. Unfortunately, his pride stands in the way of many of his decisions, and usually puts the group in unnecissary situations.
